Malpensa (2009)
Een (laatste?) uur uit het leven van twee durfkapitalistische zelfmoordterroristen.
Twee Hollandse mannen van rond de dertig raken in gesprek op vliegveld Malpensa. Ze wachten op hun vlucht naar Rome, die vertraagd is. Of ze elkaar kennen is niet duidelijk. Ze zouden vrienden kunnen zijn, maar hun gespreksthema’s zijn van een verbazingwekkende oppervlakkigheid. Het denken is hoorbaar en zichtbaar. Gaandeweg het gesprek lijken kameraadschap en opoffering een andere betekenis te krijgen dan de twee ooit hadden kunnen vermoeden. Dan vertrekt hun vlucht en gaat het leven onherroepelijk door. Voor één van de mannen, in elk geval.
1 hour - 99 years (2009)
For most young Iranians, Tehran is a frustrating place to live. The press is censored, boys and girls are often separated and everything that has to do with sex is taboo.
With sixty percent of the population under the age of thirty, authorities are getting more aware of the problems young people face. Sighe, a temporary marriage for between 1 hour and 99 years, could be a way to release some of the frustrations and give young people some room in this country where extra-marital sex remains out of the question.. Even though some influential people try to promote temporary marriages, the issue has triggered heated debates, as many see it as legalized prostitution.

Het Wapen van Geldrop is een hartstochtelijke roadmovie, geschreven en geregisseerd door Thijs Römer, en met Tara Elders, Katja Schuurman en Thijs Römer in de hoofdrollen.
In Het Wapen van Geldrop belanden een geflipte huismoeder, een suïcidaal meisje en een ontsnapte TBS-er volstrekt toevallig in elkaars gezelschap en blijken het onderweg op hun volstrekt eigen wijze heel goed met elkaar te kunnen vinden.

Interview (2007)
Shot on location in New York City in just nine days, Interview was the first to be made in a series of three English remakes from the works of late Dutch helmer Theo van Gogh. Directed by actor and filmmaker Steve Buscemi (Trees Lounge, Lonesome Jim) and co-starring Sienna Miller.
The Birthday (2006)
The Column Film produced documentary The Birthday from Iranian filmmaker Negin Kianfar & Dutch filmmaker Daisy Mohr exploring Iran’s surprisingly liberal policies regarding transsexuality premiered on last years IDFA and has completed its successful 2007 festival run with several prizes.
