Gewoon Hans
De vader van de 17-jarige Katinka is fan van Hans Teeuwen. Het kleine huis van het gezin Vermeulen ademt hem: de te grote flatscreen schalt de hele dag shows van Hans Teeuwen, overal hangen posters en er slingeren tal van CD’s en DVD’s door de kamer. De Teeuwen-overdaad leidt tot angsten en waanbeelden bij Katinka.
Kus
Kus vertelt het verhaal van Bruno (8) die afscheid neemt van zijn vader Daan, die als soldaat naar Uruzgan wordt uitgezonden. Een intieme, poëtische maar uiteindelijk ook realistische korte film over verlating en verlies.
Winterland
A true story that never happened.
According to the press release, Winterland is a film. But in reality, it is a (egomaniac?) portrait of it’s creator, Dick Tuinder, who stands to loose control over his project. When his actors mysteriously disappear from the set, he has to tap into all his resources to conjure everything back: walking trees, talking stones, flying eyes, a wall that seperates the real from the virtual world, just to mention a few ingredients of the magic potion. And Sally Dewinter. An eleven year old animated figure who has become lost in 3-D. Her only travel compagnon is a suitcase. Whatever is in the suitcase is a secret. Such a big secret, that even the girl doesn’t know. Sally: “It’s the best kept secret in the world.”

1-900 is the story of Patti and Leroy, two people who “meet” each other through phone sex chatting. As their calls become more frequent, their conversations turn into hard, explicit and unabashed phone wars and gradually, they reveal more of themselves and of their real lives – a little towards eachother, a lot towards us. Will they ever really meet?
